CatNBearys Merlin and Jasmine

Merlin and Jasmine at a young age of 5 months have already flown across the country in First Class to Oregon with Pam Barrett who is a TICA Judge. Their new Dad, Jeff, picked them up at the airport and drove them home to Seattle, The Lil' Sock ThiefWashington. I understand that Jasmine likes to steal pens and socks and Merlin stole his Dad's car keys.(He was 40 mins. late looking for them)

Cinema Lover! On the weekend it isn't unual to see Merlin and Jeff munching on Popcorn and watching a movie. Merlin has actually gone to work with Jeff. Hmmmmm Visual Basic Is soooo Easy

Thank you Jeff for all the great pictures, funny stories and for being a great Dad to my little Christmas kitties.

CatNBearys Donovan & Daphne

CatNBearys Donovan & Daphne

Hi Penny,

As promised here are some pictures of Daphne (left) and Donovan (right). Donovan is giving Daphne a run for her money. She is used to being the princess of the house, now she has to share the limelight with Donovan. Since we got him, Daphne is demanding a lot more of our lap time! I don’t know if they know they’re related but they have some similar characteristics and mannerisms, except Daphne doesn’t squeak as much as Donovan does (we call him the little squeaker, he sure can be noisy when he wants to be). It’s great having a new kitten around, his personality is great which I attribute a lot to the attention and love you give all the cats and kittens in your cattery.
Thanks again,

Pam

CatNBearys Rocco & Lola

Rocco & Lola Waiting for dinner treats…

Wrestling on the kitchen table…Best Buddies

Rocco and Lola have been with us for just over 2 months and now rule the household. They never leave each other’s side and if Lola goes missing, her big brother calls for her in his chirping voice. Lola’s a bit smaller, but she is definitely the trouble maker. Their daily routine includes morning snack and a drink out of the faucet, a race around the house, wrestling, shredding the napkins in the basket on the kitchen table, and a long afternoon nap before round two!

You would never know that two kittens could take up an entire king size bed, but that’s only at night. Favorite sleeping spots include any one of the kitchen chairs (or table) and for Rocco, the leather chair. Call them spoiled, but they keep us entertained daily. Adopting both of them was the best thing we could have done. Thank you to Penny for introducing us to the American Shorthair breed. They are truly unique, both in personality and exotic look. They are a wonderful addition to our expanding family.

Pals since birth - Rocco is the “brown boy”, Lola is the “silver patch girl”.

Sleeping AngelWatchful Angel
CatNBeary Precious Angel

Thank you Penny!

Precious has earned her name over and over. She is a very well balanced cat. Now at one year old, being a “Silver Tabby” she grows more pleasant and more beautiful every day. She loves to be brushed and even rolls over for the “the other side” which has made her coat exceptionally shinny and soft.

Precious has been an excellent traveler from day one. She has traveled the east coast by car quite a few times. Laying and sleeping in my arms; only to her cage for the litter box.

Her favorite places are her window seats. The wildlife and trees moving keep her alert and yet rested.

Precious couldn't have made the uneventful adoption without you and all your help. Following your instructions in keeping her in tune with her previous environment I believe made all the difference. She adapts to the original instructions without any trouble. Our bedroom and bath were her first places of safety, with all her needs right there and when need be she will go back without any problem.

Precious is well loved and shares her love with all. We never thought we would find a “Silver Tabby” and since we have, we look forward to you at CatnBeary to allow us to adopt another.

Enjoy a few of her many snap shots.

Heartfelt thanks,
Mike & Sally Southwood

CatNBeary Kristofur Robin
AACE 2004 - 2005 Best Alter

Dear Penny,
I can't tell you how much we love Kristofur Robin. Bringing home another of your American Shorthairs has been wonderful. Krisftofur is such a clown. His two favorite Spideycathobbies are playing and sleeping. He zooms around the house as if he has a rocket attached to him, and is very happy if he finds a ball to play with and carry around along the way.
Recently he has discovered he can climb many things. His new evening adventure includes climbing a sisal post to the ceiling, or climbing to the very top of our patio door. He has earned his nickname of Spidey Cat.
I can't tell you how much joy he brings to the family. I guess the only thing better than one American Shorthair is two, so thank you again for letting me adopt another of your kitties.

Sincerely,
Sandie

Roger Blue

CH CatNBeary Roger Blue

Dear Penny,
I just wanted to take the time to thank you and let you know how much we love Roger Blue. The first time I saw an American Shorthair in person, I just knew I would have to find the right breeder and bring one home.

Once I met you and saw how you raised your cats, I knew I had found the right breeder. From the moment Roger Blue came into our house, it seemed as if he had lived here all of his life. His new surroundings, and his new feline family didn't bother him a bit. He was 6 ½ months old, and I was sure it was going to take awhile to adjust to his new home.

He has been with us for 7 months now, and I can't imagine life without him. He has such a relaxed attitude. When he wants attention, he climbs into my lap and looks at me with those big green eyes. He will sit in my lap kneading me for hours if I let him, loving every minute of it. Anytime someone new comes over, he is there to say hello and steal some attention. I can't tell you how many comments I get on how beautiful he is, and what a sweet cat he is.

Thank you for allowing us to adopt him, and I look forward to possibly adopting another kitten from you in the future.

Sincerely,
Sandie

Meadow
CatNBeary Meadow

Meadow shares a home in Auburn Maine with her  two canine siblings, both Golden Retrievers, Danni, 8 yrs old and Kody, 4 yrs old. She is also sharing her home with  humans, Charlie & Anita.

She spends her days lounging around, any space of her choice, from an antique Rooseville dish, to a window perch. She enjoys bird watching as well as exploying the grooming shop. Her night time habits include sleeping curled up across Kody's neck on the king size bed, she allows the humans to share.

We humans are tickled pink that she has allowed us to share her life.

Meadow's favorite spot in an antique rooseville dish. She has very high class taste!!

Thanks so much!
Anita

Cammy
CatNBeary Cammy

Cammy, a Cameo tabby, is the littermate to Roger Blue, Meadow and Leah.
He lives in Stoneham, MA with his Mom and Dad, Maureen and David and two older American Shorthairs.  Maureen has sent me a few emails telling me the latest on Cammy:

"He really adjusted with no problem at all. He went through a growing spurt about a month and a half ago,so he is getting big. He is a Dennis the mennis in cat form.He is having a nap right now, so he will be ready for another round of activity before bedtime. He sleeps with my arm curled around him in bed, but he doesn't realize he cant fit anymore.  Cammys favorite trick is to take the paper towel from the kitchen past the dining room into the living room into the front room without ripping it ,or tearing it off the roll. So now we have to go without paper towels till he gets a little older. It really looks funny when you walk into the house because you know right away who did it.."

Maureen has just adopted two more CatNBeary kittens from Abby's litter, a Blue Silver Patch Tabby  she named Ashley and a Silver Tabby she named Misty May. As Maureen said, she feels that Cammy needs someone his own age to play with so he will leave his older brothers alone.  I wonder how he will handle two girls!

Thanks Maureen for giving my kitties a good home.
